La Bodega - Spanish Cuisine at Empire

Company had organised a dinner at La Bodega at Empire Subang Jaya. They had given us 2 type of menu, the drinks menu have lots of choice (cocktails, mocktails, beers, liquor and etc) while the food menu is just a piece of cardboard. Obviously, people come here for the drinks and tapas (snack).

You can visit their website http://www.bodega.com.my/labodega/

We had ordered 2 paella (rice), 1 pasta and different type of tapas which I can't remember how many sets and types been ordered, just keep ordering until we feel full, hahaha... company is paying the bills, so we don't care much on the price. I had ordered Fruity Margarita which recommend by my colleague, she said this drink had very mild alcohol. I taste it and it's goooood...

Fitflop Sales at Oasis Village, Ara Damansara

My colleague told me that there is Fitflop sales at Oasis Village and ask me to join, see whether can get any cheap stuff there. We went there during lunch break, the first thing we do is checking the price, hahaha... found it's not cheap although after 40% discount = RM 199

We still found a lot of people is buying the flip flop although at that price because they said it's comfortable and durable. For me, I opt for cheaper sandal - Sanuk costs RM 39. If you buy 3 pairs, it will be RM 100. So, my colleague bought 2 pairs and I got a pair. I just pay RM 34 instead of RM 39 (^-^)

It made from Yoga mats.

Zoo Negara - School Holiday

On the second week of school holiday, we brought our kids to Zoo Negara. Why Zoo? Because my little girl told me the size of the elephant is like the size of her palm. So, I think it's time to open up her eyes to see the real animals. You can visit this website http://www.zoonegaramalaysia.my/index.htm

It's a sunny day during our visit and lots of people, parking almost full. Guess what, I never been to zoo for the last 20 years and my perception on national zoo should be poor maintenance, dirty with littering and skinny animals. Surprisingly, the zoo quite well maintain, at least all the animals are well feed and strong.

Little girl holding hand with her cousin and enjoying their sightseeing. Whatever cousin said, she just follow, monkey see, monkey do. My girl born in year of tiger so I asked her to take picture with it, she refused and said "cannot, later the tiger will eat me", hahaha... don't you think she's cute. We don't have time to see any show but lucky enough to see the peacock opening its feathers. After seeing so many animals, I asked her which part that she likes the most, she told me the farm. Well, she still prefer tame and small size animals

Tanjung Sepat - School Holiday

Today is first day of school and I expect heavy traffic but surprisingly, the traffic is good today. Just took 1.5 hours to send my kid to Sri Petaling and heading to work in PJ.

Guess what I did for last 2 weeks school holiday. 1st weekend, we bring our kids to Tanjung Sepat and expect to have a fruitful trip. Unfortunately, we had lost our way, by the time we reach Ah Hock Seafood Bat Kut Teh, it's already 2pm and "sudah habis". Huh, so we are heading to lover bridge there for lunch. It's quite reasonable price, we had ordered steam fish, 2 vege, 1 fried squid, 1 soup, 1 lala which cater for 4 adults and 1 kid, the bill come out with RM 130+.

Initially we want to visit dragon fruit farm and durian farm but seriously we don't know where we are. Even with the GPS but it's not reliable when we are in need. End up we went to Kuan Wellness Eco Park, just let the kids visit the small farm with RM2/entry, kids entry are free. The rabbits are free to run everywhere inside the farm, and their poo poo also everywhere, my little boy had step few of it. But it's ok, there is a cafe at Eco park, just let the kids run around the grass and the poo poo gone, hahaha...

Here is the photo taken at lover bridge

Pasar Malam at Taman Putra Prima, Puchong

Yesterday got a message from my husband saying that there is a pasar malam at our housing area, just in front of the KFC hostel. So, I went there for a walk after work. It's not a big pasar malam but at least it's a good start.

There is about 10-15 stalls, you can find raw chicken, vegetables and mainly food stall. Mostly operated by Malays and found only one Chinese stall who is selling power bank. Food price is reasonable, if you are staying nearby, probably can drop by to buy your dinner or supper.

I did chat with the food stall owner and they said normally they open the stall at Taman Mas pasar malam on Wednesday, and today (Monday) is a grand opening for Taman Putra Prima pasar malam. Hope this pasar malam work well and attract more resident, otherwise I'm afraid it will be missing again if the business not that good. ;p
